What is significant about Jesus forgiving the thief on the cross?
How is forgiveness an expression of love for Jesus and our neighbors?
How can you begin to demonstrate the kind of love and forgiveness Jesus calls us to have?
Prayer: Jesus, you showed me loving kindness right up to the last moments of your life. You forgave a convicted criminal and invited him to paradise. You love the unloved and unlovable and call me to do the same. You call me to forgive as an expression of my love for you and for others. Lord, help me to forgive. Amen.
